I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, who specializes in providing clinical counselling for adolescents and young adults.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Degree from Carleton University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from Western University. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, and their families.
During my graduate studies, I completed a clinical practicum with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care Program (Eating Disorders) at Victoria Hospital in London. It was during this experience that I discovered my true passion for counselling.
After my five years of post-secondary education, I accepted a contract position with the Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient and Outreach Program at St. Joseph's Health Care in London.
After completing this contract and eager to broaden my clinical experience, I relocated to a small town in Alberta, where I spent two years working as a mental health therapist in secondary and outreach school settings.
I am currently back in my hometown of London, where I have worked as a mental health therapist supporting students at Western University for four years, and Western's Faculty and Staff for five years.
I have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and I bring a strong understanding of mental illness and relationships to my clinical work.
I’ll send free mental health tips straight to your inbox.
